Disclosures & Credits
How we source, credit and make what we publish. Short version: we're independent, we show our receipts, and we fix mistakes in the open.
We're not affiliated
The Brand Bet is an independent publication. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any company we cover, unless a piece is clearly labeled as sponsored. Company names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners.
Nothing we publish is financial or investment advice. When we mention stock prices, it's to show what happened to a brand's business, not to recommend buying or selling anything.
Logos, clips and quotes
We show logos, ads, short video clips, stills and quotes for commentary, criticism and news reporting. We use only as much as we need to make the point, credit the source on screen or on the page, and add our own analysis.
If you own something we've used and have a concern, email contact@thebrandbet.com and we'll respond promptly.
Every claim has a receipt
Every number and claim in a story is sourced, and each story page lists its sources: company filings, earnings releases, reputable news outlets and public market data. Where sources disagree, we say so or use the more conservative figure.
If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction on the story page. Spot an error? Email contact@thebrandbet.com.
AI-assisted, human-checked
We use AI tools to help with research, writing, design and production. Our video narration uses an AI-generated voice. Some illustrations are AI-generated too, including the page backgrounds in Rebrand Receipts, and we label them where they appear. We never use AI to make images of real people or to fake real logos, products or events. Every story is fact-checked against the sources listed on its page before it's published.
How we make money
Sponsored content is always labeled as sponsored. Some links to tools or books may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. We only recommend things we'd recommend anyway, and sponsors never get a say in our analysis.
Images we don't own are used under their licenses and credited here and on the page where they appear.
